Meet the Doctor
Dr. Karen’s passion for movement began early in life through competitive dancing, where she discovered its power as both an art form and a path to a healthier lifestyle. She was always drawn to sports—track and field, cross country, and field hockey, to name a few—but when pain struck, she wanted to understand why.
Her curiosity about the root causes of musculoskeletal pain led her to King’s College, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Biology degree, and then to New York Chiropractic College, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic in 2015.
Early in her career, she worked alongside Dr. Kristen Walters, a well-respected sports chiropractor around the Philadelphia CrossFit community. She quickly realized that to truly understand and treat CrossFit athletes, she needed to speak their language—so she joined CrossFit herself. What started as a way to better serve her patients became a lifelong passion.
As a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer (CF-L1) and RKC Instructor (Russian Kettlebell Challenge), Dr. Karen integrates strength, movement, and rehab principles into her chiropractic care. These certifications allow her to bridge the gap between rehabilitation, performance, and movement education, helping athletes and active individuals better understand their bodies so they can move with confidence and longevity.
In 2021, she moved to Miami to continue her personal and professional growth, bringing her #MovementIsLife philosophy to the Kendall and Pinecrest areas. She is dedicated to helping people not just recover from pain, but truly understand and optimize their movement for a stronger, more resilient body.
